MINUTES OF THE COMMISSIONER’S MEETING

November 28, 2005

The meeting of the Broadwater County Commissioners was called to order by Chairman James V. Hohn. Present was Commissioner Steven R. McCullough. Commissioner Elaine M. Mann was attending another meeting.

Bob Masolo, Road Department Supervisor, met with the Commissioners to report on the activities of the Road Crew. Bob told the Commissioners that he had met with Kelly Ingalls regarding Mr. Ingalls’ complaint to the Commissioners about the Road Department filling in a cattle guard belonging to Mr. Ingalls. Bob told the Commissioners that they found a solution to the problem.

Commissioner McCullough moved to approve the claims in the amount of $13,769.67. Commissioner Hohn seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

Joe Dixson, Developer of Mountain Vista Estates Subdivision, appeared before the Commissioners to discuss access to his Subdivision. He told the Commissioners that he needs access to his property. He stated that he realizes that Morrison-Maierle Inc. is currently studying the road situation. The Commissioners told him that as soon as the study is done, a public hearing will be held to reveal their findings. Steve Cavanaugh, Developer of the Rolling Glen Ranch Subdivision, told the Commissioners that he would like to accommodate Mountain Vista Subdivision but it can’t be done under current conditions. Donald Schauber and Dennis Rahn told the Commissioners that the road needs to be moved to the ridges because it blows shut each winter. Terry Murphy, resident of the area, told the Commissioners that he is upset because of the "no Trespass" sign on Dunbar Road. He has used that road since 1969. The Commissioners explained to the group that they are trying to come up with solutions to accommodate everyone but at this point in time, they don’t have any answers.
