This is to certify the following is a true and correct copy of the Broadwater County Commissioner Minutes approved by the Commissioners on November 07,2005.

COMMISSIONERS’S MEETING
OCTOBER 3, 2005
The meeting of the Broadwater County Commissioners was called to order by chairman James V. Hohn. Present was Commissioner Elaine M. Mann, Commissioner Steven R. McCullough was absent.
- Nichole Brown met with the Commissioners in Julie Letherts place regarding preliminary plat approval for Lot 2 Lazy HM Minor. The conditions for the "Finding of Facts", DEQ, and Weed Plan documents have been met therefore Commissioner Mann motion to approve the preliminary plat and Commissioner Hohn seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
- Julie Lethert’s appointment with the Commissioners scheduled for 10:30 was cancelled.
- Mail/Items for discussion, Action and/or Signature
- The Commissioners approved the September 30, 2005 claims in the amount of $39,788.72
- The Commissioners approved the Cancellation of the October 10, 2005 Commissioner meeting due to the Columbus Day Holiday
- The Commissioners approved a request from the Montana Department of Revenue for a waiver of penalty and interest on Tax ID # 7001609 for Hidden Hollow Hideaway Ranch Inc. (See Attachment)
- The Commissioners are taking under advisement the bids they received for the Museum/Senior Center sidewalk from Turcotte and Baldy Mountain Construction. The Turcotte bid is for $23,200.00 and the Baldy Mountain Construction bid is for $2,610.00.
- The Commissioners approved the Broadwater Rodeo Association request for the installation of a livestock-watering tank in the amount of $1,500.00. (See Attachment)
The Commissioners approved the Morrison and Maierle, Inc.’s proposal for Engineering Assessment of Dunbar Road. They asked Natalie Tomeo to write a letter to letting Morrison and Maierle, Inc. know their decision. (See Attachment)
Natalie Tomeo brought into the Commissioners 3 bills; the first one is from Baldy Mountain Construction in the amount of $7,588.50 for work done on the Commissioners, the DES, and the Multiple use room.
The second bill is from D.M.S. Surveyors in the amount of $775.00 for maps and applications on Wheatland Road.
Finally, the third bill is from Northwest Telcom in the amount of $343.00 for work done on the phones in the courthouse
.
- Dave Corner with Search and Rescue brought in a bill from Northwestern Energy in the amount of $933.48. Commissioners asked to table the discussion for this bill until the next Commissioners meeting.
The Commissioners approved and signed the MSU Extension Service County Salary Adjustment Verification Form for FY 2006. (See Attachment)
The Commissioners approved and signed the Inter-Local Agreement for the Designation of Justice of the Peace as City Judge for the City of Townsend. (See Attachment)
Judy Gillespie brought to the Commissioners the school mill levies for the Commissioners to see. (See Attachment)
- Melissa Tuemmler had some questions regarding Dunbar Road.
Melissa also wanted to get the Commissioners thoughts on the KOA campground road and the issue of entrances and exists on the road.
- Jenny Schauber, with Schauber Surveying, inquired about Price Road and grading of the road. Commissioner Hohn said he spoke with Bob Masolo on this issue and told Bob that the county should still be grading the road as well.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:00 am, the next Commissioners meeting is scheduled for October 17, 2005 at 10:00am in the Commissioners room in the Courthouse.
