SI Crimson Bluffs proudly supports and promotes Townsend, the first town on the Missouri River --- Lewis and Clark's highway into the Western Territories. This area offers important historical
Landmarks, recreational opportunities for all seasons, progressive agricultural and ranching operations and it's all surrounded by Montana's spectacular Big Sky Scenery.

Soroptimist International is a woman's service organization founded in 1921. Today we are almost 100,000 members strong in 119 countries around the world. We chartered Crimson Buffs in 2001 with 18 members determined to make a difference in our community. Since then we have fulfilled our mission by working either independently or in conjunction with other groups in the area to improve our county. Proceeds from this site and our other fundraisers support the following projects:

• Career Day for High School students
• Assistance for families/individuals needing help with estate sales
• Back-To-School Program providing school supplies and clothing for families in need
• Violet Richardson Award, an annual scholarship recognizing a young woman's volunteer work
• Woman's Opportunity Award, an annual scholarship given to a woman needing additional training to better support her family
• Donations to the Community Heritage Park Project
• Donations to Friendship Center, a safe shelter for victims of domestic violence or sexual assault
