A special meeting of the Broadwater County Commissioners was held on Monday, March 20, 2006 at 9:30 a.m. to canvass the Weed Board Mill Levy Election results.
Chairman Steven R. McCullough, Commissioner Elaine M. Mann and Commissioner James V. Hohn conducted the Canvass, finding the following:

For the increase in mills to the Weed Dept: 776
Against the increase in mills to the Weed Dept: 560
2 unvoted Ballots 2
Total Votes cast: 1338
